The University of New Mexico is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Custodial Services team for the 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM shift, Monday through Friday, with opportunities available in both UNM Health Sciences Center (HSC) Facilities Management Custodial and Main Campus Facilities Management Custodial.Key Responsibilities:
As a Custodian, you will: Perform general custodial duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and restroom cleaning. Restock paper and soap supplies and empty trash receptacles. Operate custodial equipment and perform routine maintenance on tools and supplies. Unlock and secure doors as needed during cleaning. Report maintenance needs and supply levels to supervisors. Promote safety and environmental best practices in all tasks. Assist in training new custodial staff on standard procedures. Perform seasonal or project-based cleaning tasks as assigned. Provide access to vendors and report any issues to supervisors. Assist with snow removal and minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or adjusting furniture.
