What you will doParticipate in AI/ML upstream communities to ensure the technologies work on OpenShift and can be integrated with RHOAIWork with upstream AI/ML communities to evaluate new AI/ML related technologies from partners and create examples of integrations between their technology and RHOAIIntegrate new open source AI/ML components into Red Hat OpenShift AIPresent at OpenShift/Kubernetes, and AI/ML related technology conferences and internally within the AI/ML communities of practiceOwn design reviews and automated testing for major product features and bug fixes. You'll be responsible for developing test strategy and frameworks, designing and implementing automated tests, creating and carrying out test plans, researching new features, developing automated tests, and maintaining and enhancing test frameworks.Experience with functional and non-functional testingServe as an internal advocate for our customers, providing data-driven product quality metrics to all major stakeholdersHelp grow a company-wide community of Quality enthusiasts that is passionate about our customers’ needsRun technical initiatives that grow, improve, and scale our existing processesContribute to the development of the Open Data Hub open source project and Red Hat Openshift AI family of products.Work with and develop testing plans for new open source AI components from Open Data Hub and Red Hat OpenShift AI.Use communication skills to communicate with other teams of Red Hat engineers, product managers, consultants, and management across the globe.What you will bringExperience with AI and Machine Learning platforms such as Kubeflow, Tensorflow and PyTorch9+ years of software quality engineering experience including test automation using object-oriented languages; Python is preferred5+ years of experience managing Linux-based systems in a production environment3+ years of experience with enterprise system monitoring; knowledge of Prometheus is a plus1+ year(s) of experience with KubernetesExperience with Kubernetes operators1+ year(s) of experience with containers on LinuxExperience with Jenkins - Creating Jenkins pipelines, debugging tests through log analysisPassionate about shipping products that people love.Passionate about making complicated things simple.Enjoy working in an open organization, where everyone's contributions are valued.Knowledge of the web, HTTP, and the automated testing space.Python, Go, Git, Continuous Integration, containers, Jenkins and/or CI.Experience working with Kubernetes/OpenShift, troubleshooting issues and working with YAMLAbility to quickly learn and use new tools and technologiesNice to Haves:Experience with Go programming languageExperience creating Ansible automation scriptsExperience with big data storage techniques such as Parquet, Avro, and S3Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or other related disciplineExperience with web applications using HTML/CSS and JavaScript.Experience with a JavaScript framework like React.Experience with the Robot test framework.Experience with modern CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or FoundationFamiliarity with back-end technologies like Node.jsUnderstanding of DevOps methodologyThe salary range for this position is $127,890- $182,520.
