There is no base salary or hourly wage.About the RoleHouse Doctors of Orlando is seeking a professional, self-motivated Sales & Estimating Specialist to manage in-home consultations and estimate follow-up across our Central Florida territory. The role is based in DeLand and covers the I‑4 corridor between West Volusia and Altamonte Springs, including Debary, Lake Mary, Sanford, and surrounding communities.This role is well-suited for an individual who understands residential project scopes and thrives in a consultative sales environment. You will meet with homeowners, assess needs, prepare detailed written estimates, and support the client throughout the decision-making process.We also welcome candidates interested in helping us develop strategic partnerships with over-55 communities, realtors, and senior-serving organizations to grow our aging-in-place offerings. You will be an important contributor to both revenue and brand development.Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home client meetings for estimate requests (all leads are inbound and pre-qualified)
- Assess scope of work, document site conditions, and prepare professional estimates
- Ensure margin accuracy and pricing integrity using provided tools and templates
- Follow up with clients to answer questions and secure commitment
- Coordinate closely with field team to validate feasibility and schedule workflow
- Represent the brand at local networking events, home shows, or community expos (as needed)
- Offer insight and feedback to management on marketing strategies and outreach efforts
- 2+ years of experience in home improvement, residential estimating, or in-home sales
- Strong interpersonal and consultative selling skills
- Confidence in walking job sites, visualizing projects, and discussing budgets
- Basic proficiency with email, Google Workspace, and CRM tools (ServiceTitan a plus)
- Organized, self-disciplined, and client-focused
- Clean, professional appearance and reliable transportation
- Commission-based: Earn 5–7% of closed job revenue (tiered structure)
- Mileage reimbursement at $0.50/mile (capped at $300/month)
