Essential Job Duties
- Program Oversight: Directly manage a complex portfolio of contracts and simultaneously meet technical delivery and financial metrics.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve company objectives and drive growth.
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, financial planning, and reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility and profitability.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure the stability and security of the organization.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive continuous improvement.
- Continual Improvement: Act as a focal point for driving improvement across the business through process, operational, and technology improvement initiatives.
- Ability to obtain and retain a Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience providing support to the Department of Defense and / or Federal Civilian Agencies.
- Experience providing technical oversight of programs or portfolios exceeding $100 million in total contract value.
- Demonstrated ability to capture new business and grow existing business.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.
- Financial acumen and experience with budget management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Demonstrated understanding of industry standard project management and service delivery frameworks.
- Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- ITIL 4 certification.
- Agile SAFe certification.
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- The Vice President will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, often requiring the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Travel may be required to meet with partners, clients, and stakeholders. The role demands a high level of responsibility and accountability, often involving tight deadlines and complex issues.
- May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable).
