Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees, contractors, and guests, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding site protocols.   • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with inquiries and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to company and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed to address security-related matters within the chemical and petrochemical environment.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
