The Global Own Store Operations Director for Financial Services is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the company's financial services branches on a global scale. This individual will be a key driver in defining and implementing operational policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer service, optimize branch performance, and maintain a strong risk and compliance framework across all locations worldwide.Role Responsibilities:
- Strategic Operations Leadership: Develop and execute a global operations strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives and drives growth and profitability in financial services branches.
- Operational Excellence: Define, implement, and continuously improve operational policies, procedures, and service standards across all branches, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices in a diverse, geographically dispersed, multicultural environment.
- Performance Management: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor branch performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Risk and Compliance Management: Oversee the implementation and adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and audit procedures, ensuring a strong control environment to minimize operational and financial risk.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of branch operations professionals, fostering a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Technology, HR) to ensure seamless execution of initiatives and strategies that support branch operations and overall business goals.
- Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage the operational budget for global branches, identifying cost-saving opportunities and maximizing resource allocation.
- Technology Implementation: Champion the adoption and effective utilization of technology solutions to enhance branch operations, improve customer experience, and increase efficiency.
- Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, market changes, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in branch operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field. Prefer master’s degree in a relevant field.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in financial services operations, with significant experience in a global or multi-location environment.
- Proven track record of success in driving operational excellence, managing risk, and achieving business results.
- Strong understanding of financial services regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional leadership, communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and initiatives from conception to completion.
- Proficiency in using technological solutions relevant to financial services operations.
- Ability to travel internationally as needed
- Experience working with a variety of financial products and services.
- Experience in a rapidly evolving business environment.
The on-target earnings range is $ 157,000. - $209,000 per year, which is a base salary. Plus short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance .
