Construction Estimator - Renewable EnergyA growing leader in the renewable energy construction space is seeking a full-time Estimator to support a rapidly expanding pipeline of clean energy projects across the U.S. These projects span solar, energy storage, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. This is a great opportunity for an experienced estimator to join a high-performing team that values innovation, technical excellence, and a mission-driven approach to building a more sustainable future.What You'll Do:Review and quantify construction drawings across disciplines (Civil, Structural, Electrical, etc.)Lead cost estimating efforts from concept to final proposal deliveryAnalyze and prepare material, labor, and scheduling requirementsEvaluate value-engineering alternativesMaintain and expand cost databases and supplier/subcontractor relationshipsCollaborate with sales, engineering, procurement, and construction operationsConduct site visits to assess project feasibilityContribute to project design strategy, pricing, and long-term planningSupport continuous improvement through post-mortem project analysisParticipate in vendor and subcontractor engagement to support accurate costingHelp evolve and optimize internal estimating processes and toolsWhat We're Looking For:At least 3+ years of experience in solar PV, energy storage, commercial electrical projects or EV infrastructure estimating (preferred)Proficiency with estimating tools such as MS Excel, Accubid, PVBid, or similarWorking knowledge of PVSyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD (preferred)Understanding of procurement and construction processes in the renewable sectorStrong technical reading and drawing interpretation skillsExcellent communication, collaboration, and time management skillsWillingness to travel (~25%) for site evaluationsBS in Construction Management or similar field (preferred)NABCEP Certification or TDLR License (a plus)Benefits:$70,000 - 85,000K base payHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with discretionary company match and profit sharingPaid time off + flexible schedulingLife insurance & professional development supportOpportunity to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environmentHybrid work schedule with Austin-based officeAre you Interested?Stop your job search and apply today!
