All About Kids is seeking providers of speech and language intervention for early intervention (birth to 3 years old), preschool (3 to 5 years old), and school age children (5 years old and up). The SLP is responsible for the evaluation and remediation of various delays. These area include: expressive and receptive language,oral motor feeding,pragmatics,articulation,phonology, and fluency.The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) is an integral and important member of interdisciplinary team and collaborates with other members, such as physical therapists, occupational therapists, social workers, SEIT providers, ABA providers, and family members. The SLP contributes goals to the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and the Individual Educational Plan (IEP) and will work on these target objectives throughout the school year. The SLP is is available either in person or via teleconference for every IFSP and IEP meeting for their child. In compliance with state and local requirements, each therapists will be responsible for maintaining appropriate documentation regarding student services and subsequent needs.

This job requires you to travel to a child's home, school or daycare. Select the cases in locations that work best for you as well as create your own schedule. We serve all of Long Island, all five boroughs of New York City, Westchester, Orange, Putnam, Dutchess, Ulster County and more!

ALL ABOUT THE JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Master's Degree is Speech and Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
  • New York State licensure in Speech and Language Pathology
  • Must have TSHH or TSSLD to provide preschool and school age services. Not required for Early Intervention services (birth to 3).
