
Senior Insurance Operations Admin

- Strong understanding of insurance products, policies and workflows
- Complete system set-up of all new facilities and products
- Process facility name changes
- Perform all aspects of customer service, providing exceptional service to internal and external clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to insurance applications and accounts
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert, providing guidance and support to colleagues on application processing, customer service and system functionalities
- Process coverage or enrollment corrections
- Provide support and assist Partner Relations, including but not limited to, processing applications, compiling offset packets, customer service and system changes
- Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation and improvement
- Assist with special projects
- Other supporting duties as assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification
- Ensure all processes adhere to relevant federal and state regulations and internal policies, including HIPAA compliance where applicable
- Actively supports and complies with all components of the compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reporting of suspected violations of law and Company policy
- Maintains confidentiality of all information and abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines at all times
- Associate’s degree or 5-10 years of related experience in insurance administration or a similar field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance administration software
- Excellent technical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
- Flexibility and the ability to multi-task
- Strong ability to work independently, with management and/or with other Team Members
- Take ownership of job responsibilities by initiating prompt and appropriate follow up and/or action to any issues that arise
