
Mental Health Therapist/Counselor

- Provide Therapy Services: Conduct daily individual, group, and/or family counseling sessions with clients.
- Assessment & Treatment Planning: Perform diagnostic assessments and develop personalized treatment plans following state and accreditation standards.
- Clinical Coordination: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Monitor care to ensure compliance with agency policies and state regulations, reporting concerns to leadership as needed.
- Documentation & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Family & Community Engagement: Maintain communication with families, guardians, and referral sources to support client progress.
- Professional Development: Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality assurance committees to enhance service delivery.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Licensure: Active or eligible LSW, LPC, or LCSW license in accordance with the Ohio Counseling and Social Work Board.
- Experience (Preferred): Prior experience working with adolescents, teens, and adults with mental health diagnoses.
- Skills & Traits: Strong clinical skills, non-judgmental attitude, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Compliance: Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen required.
