We take pride in our engineering-driven approach, quality craftsmanship, and commitment to exceeding customer expectations.Job Duties:Design industrial control panels to meet UL508A / CSA 22.2 standards and NEC codesProgram PLCs, smart relays, HMIs, and VFDs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, ABB, Mitsubishi)Select components, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and standardsRead and interpret project plans/specifications; prepare submittals and identify exceptionsCreate and update As-Built drawings; maintain accurate documentation for design changesUse EPLAN Electric P8 to create schematics, panel layouts, and bills of materials (BOMs)Support project budgeting by reviewing and reporting costsReact quickly to supplier issues and project changes with alternative solutionsCommunicate with customers to manage project flow, resolve issues, and meet deadlinesBuild and maintain relationships with key vendors (Siemens, ABB, Mitsubishi, Eaton)Provide accurate and timely project quotesPerform field startups and commissioning as needed (0–5 days/month travel)Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)5+ years of experience in UL508A panel design, industrial controls, and/or programmingProficiency with EPLAN P8, NEC, and UL codes for electrical panelsExperience with PLC/HMI programming (Siemens and Allen Bradley preferred)Experience commissioning VFDs (ABB, Mitsubishi)Knowledge of industrial communications protocols (Ethernet IP, Modbus TCP, Profinet, Modbus 485)Strong skills in motor controls, circuit protection, and wiring standardsExcellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated with ability to work independently and meet deadlinesValid driver’s license required
