
Senior Hydrogeologist

- Insights and Reporting: Prepare and coordinate the completion of various data and analytics reports including preparing regulatory work plans and reports for investigation, remediation, and closure; working knowledge of methods and procedures for site characterization, hydrogeologic analysis and remediation of contaminants in soil, soil vapor, indoor air; and groundwater understanding of multimedia remedial technologies for addressing a variety of contaminants.
- Health, Safety, and Environment: Follow the organization's health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the well-being of self and others in the workplace. Identify patterns of risky behavior within the team and take appropriate action to resolve them, escalating serious issues as appropriate.
- Technical Project Management: Deliver medium-large scale projects while maintaining client satisfaction and ensuring projects are delivered safely and within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Solutions Analysis: Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best solutions. Solutions could be technical or professional in nature.
- Geoscientific Studies and Interpretations: Contribute to projects by providing complex analysis and interpretation of geological/geophysical field data. Involves using advanced modeling techniques.
- Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
- Client & Customer Management (External): Manage important client relationships with guidance from colleagues, or oversee relationship management with a group of more transactional clients and customers.
- Community of Practice Management: Participate actively in a community of practice in a defined area of expertise or consulting to build own expertise.
- Valid driver's license
- Able to travel to project sites for short durations (including overnight travel) throughout the region.
- Professional Designation/License (Engineer, Geologist, etc.) preferred
- OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification
- Bachelor's and/or advanced degree in applied science (Geology, Earth Science, or Engineering) with an emphasis in hydrogeology
- Minimum 8 years of experience in contaminated site investigation and remediation
