This is a paid, in-person, 12 week internship. We have openings based out of: Costa Mesa, CA & Irvine, CAWHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Assist the systems engineer team in building out new products to satisfy customer requirements in new and challenging mission areas
  • Contribute technical inputs to engineering execution plans
  • Develop tools to be used in oversight to a multi-disciplinary team of engineers through all phases of program execution up to and including delivery and operation of capabilities on-orbit
  • Assist in process development for mission and system level trade studies and analysis to balance risk, cost, and performance
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or any related field.
  • Must be a rising senior at the time of their internship and returning to school at the end of their internship to continue their academic studies for at least one quarter/semester.
  • U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong technical communication skills, providing the ability to deliver critical technical briefings and conclusions to technical leadership
  • Strong technical fundamentals in an engineering discipline
  • Working knowledge of systems engineering principles
  • Matlab experience
  • Experience in Linux
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
