- Ensures patient data integrity
- Adheres to radiologic safety guidelines and diagnostic testing protocols/procedures
- Accurately documents in compliance with regulatory agency requirements, completes computer functions, edits, scheduling, and billing status changes
- Follows infection control guidelines
- Serves as a resource for other healthcare team members
- Responds appropriately to emergent situations
- Accurate image marking and digital image manipulation and archiving
- Assesses the validity of the test results to determine if consistent with changing physiological conditions or if due to possible interfering substances
- Acts as a resource for problem-solving resolution
- Completed all require continuing education to uphold their imaging licensure
- Participates as an active team member
- Participates in department/facility process/quality improvement initiatives
- Responsible for personal and professional development to ensure current knowledge required for position
- Cleans and maintains room and supplies
- Provides integrated services with customers and care partners to ensure high quality care.
- Contributes to a positive work environment.
- Correctly operates equipment according to accepted standards and guidelines
- Identifies and responds to equipment problems to ensure equipment is working properly.
- Maintains a high level of competency
- Accepts new technology as it’s introduced into the facility
- Participates in Quality Assurance testing as required by regulatory agencies and/or manufacturer recommendations
- Current Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- 1 or years of experience in a related role
- Previous ambulatory care experience
- Additional certifications in Imaging
