Certified Medical Assistant needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Blaine, WA!Top Skills Should You Possess:
  • At least one (1) year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred; previous experience in Emergency Room, Urgent Care, or Family Practice setting a plus
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Checking in patients
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Rooming patients and obtaining vitals
  • Medical surveillance, to include respirator fit testing, audiometry testing, pulmonary function testing, and vision acuity testing
  • Blood draws
  • Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:30am – 5pm, with rotating Friday schedule of 8am – 12pm (will work no more than 40 hours/week)
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Active Medical Assistant Certification required
  • Current BLS certification
  • At least one (1) year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred; previous experience in Emergency Room, Urgent Care, or Family Practice setting a plus
  • Previous experience with medical surveillance testing preferred
  • Previous experience performing blood draws preferred
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications strongly preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude, high energy, self-starter, and independent thinker
