
Power Electronics Engineer

- Design control loops for bidirectional AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion hardware.
- Develop complex products as a power electronics controls engineer for North American grid-tied applications.
- Create digital control systems for grid-tied inverters, rectifiers, and DC/DC converters using microcontroller platforms.
- Apply modeling and simulation-aided analysis for control loop design using tools such as PLECS.
- Ensure compliance with V2G and G2V related regulations in North America concerning grid interactive power converters.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in power electronics controls engineering or a related role.
- Bidirectional inverter design experience for North American grid-tied applications.
- Strong understanding of power converter theory and design.
- Experience developing digital control systems for grid-tied inverters, rectifiers, and DC/DC converters using microcontroller platforms.
- Working knowledge of V2G and G2V regulations in North America.
- Proficiency in using PLECS for modeling and simulation-aided analysis.
- Firmware development experience.
- Advanced skills in power design.
