This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless communication and data exchange across diverse enterprise applications and platforms. As a Middleware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust middleware solutions that serve as the backbone of our IT infrastructure.You will play a key role in enabling integration between legacy systems, ERP systems (SAP, EBS), cloud services, and modern applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of middleware technologies, integration patterns, and enterprise architecture principles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvement in system interoperability.This is a strategic role that requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills.   • Bachelor's Degree and at least 6 Years’ of relevant Experience
OR
  • Master's Degree and at least 8 Years’ of relevant Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on working experience on Middleware tools such as Boomi, APIGEE
  • On-prem/cloud hybrid experience using Middleware tools
  • Hands-on experience in managing GxP & SOX solutions
  • Working experience with EDI/OTC/FSS/3PL's and trading partners
  • Working experience with pharama manufacturing processes
  • Hands-on DevOps & Agile delivery experience
  • Track record working in a fast paced, FDA regulated IT environment
  • Experience managing consultants and providing technical recommendations
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects & priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The salary range for this position is: Bay Area: $146,540.00 - $189,640.00.Raleigh: $126,565.00 - $163,790.00.Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
