As the Manager of Medical Staff Peer Review and Risk Management, you will play a critical role in fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountability. Reporting to the Vice President of Quality and Patient Safety, you will lead efforts to support high-reliability care, coordinate peer review processes, and manage risk with insight, discretion, and integrity. You will collaborate across departments, guide investigations, and help drive data-informed decisions that protect our patients, support our providers, and strengthen our care systems. Education
Degree in a health care related field required
Evidence of continuing education, specialization in Risk Management or Master’s Degree preferred
Experience
Clinical or healthcare organization experience preferred.
Experience with implementation of improvement methodologies and data management preferred.
Licensure and/or Certification
Certification in risk management or patient safety preferred
Membership in ASHRM preferred
Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English required
Detail Oriented
Ability to manage data and generate reports
Knowledge of statistical processes and measurement techniques
Ability to work independently and facilitate teams
Organizational skills
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Experienced Computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite and specifically Excel competency.
Knowledge of performance improvement, root cause analysis and failure mode effects analysis methodologies
Ability to maintain confidential information and conduct sensitive inquires with discretion.
