- Coordinate activities with other internal departments
- Participate in team meetings
- Operate and maintain floor care equipment, including floor scrubbers, polishers, and vacuum cleaners.
- Ensure proper setup, calibration, and adjustment of machines for different floor surfaces.
- Perform routine and specialized cleaning of floors using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
- Address stains, spills, and other floor-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Inspect finished floors to ensure cleanliness, shine, and adherence to quality standards.
- Identify and rectify any deficiencies in the cleaning process.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling cleaning agents.
- Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and report any issues promptly.
- Conduct routine maintenance on floor care equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and report any malfunctions or the need for repairs to the maintenance team.
- Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment parts.
- Place orders for supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, equipment maintenance, and any incidents.
- Provide reports on machine performance and cleaning outcomes as required.
- High School diploma or equivalent education.
- Proven experience as a Floor Care Machine Operator or similar role.
- Familiarity with a variety of floor care equipment and their operation.
- Knowledge of different floor types and appropriate cleaning methods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment.
