Position SummaryThe School of Education seeks applications between July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026, from individuals who are interested in securing temporary instructor positions within the Educator Preparation program for the 2025-2026 academic year. Instructors teach undergraduate pre-service teaching courses in one or more areas of;
- PreK - Grade 3: Early Childhood Education
- Kindergarten - Grade 12: Art, Foreign Languages, Instructional Technology; Music
- Secondary - Grades 7-12: Agricultural Education, Business Education, English, Family and Consumer Studies, Marketing Education, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Speech, Technology Education.
Conditions of Employment Pre-employment Criminal Background Check (required for new hires)
Required Job Qualifications
- Earned masters degree in education or a related field
- P-12 teaching license and/or a minimum of 3 years professional work experience in P-12 teaching or administration.
- Earned doctorate degree in education or a related field
- Experience teaching undergraduate and graduate students using face-to-face and distance technologies
- Evidence of successful collaboration with public school teachers and administrators
- Experience in course development
- Evidence of or potential for scholarship and publication commensurate with a research university (high research activity)
