Shift: 1st Shift | Flexible Start/End (Between 5:00 AM 5:00 PM)

  • Promote and maintain a culture of safety by identifying risks and leading weekly toolbox talks.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and standards.
Production Oversight
  • Lead daily operations, aligning with production schedules and customer needs.
  • Assign tasks and resources to meet performance and delivery goals.
  • Deliver shift reports and performance updates to senior leadership.
Performance & KPIs
  • Monitor productivity using earned ratio and other KPIs.
  • Implement continuous improvement projects and resolve performance issues effectively.
Training & Development
  • Manage cross-training efforts and maintain detailed training progress records.
  • Conduct employee evaluations and support career development initiatives.
Facility & Equipment
  • Perform regular inspections of equipment and ensure timely repairs and maintenance.
  • Promote an organized and safe workspace in all production areas.
Communication & Coordination
  • Lead daily shift meetings and communicate real-time performance data.
  • Coordinate with Scheduling, Materials, Engineering, and HR teams.
  • Provide real-time and end-of-shift feedback to employees and leadership.
Leadership & Culture
  • Enforce company policies and foster a respectful, team-driven work environment.
  • Maintain documentation on staff performance, attendance, and machinery data.
  • Take proactive ownership of operational issues, staffing, and shift-level planning.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading or supervising teams in a sheet metal fabrication and/or machining environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proactive, fair approach.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes and apply corrective actions.
