
Card and ATM Product Owner

- Serves as product manager for Card and ATM products and services which include, but are not limited to: Debit cards, ATM cards, Credit cards, mobile wallet, card controls, alerts and notifications, digital issuance, contactless cards, instant-issuance, and ATM fleet management.
- Develops and executes long term product strategy, enhancement backlog, and roadmaps. Research opportunities for introducing new products and features. Communicate and lead product initiatives to support the efforts of the Bank. Understands competitor capabilities and gaps, and how to position Bank solutions against them.
- Provides data on card and ATM activity to VISA and Bank Teams as needed, but at a minimum quarterly for the VISA Quarterly Operating Certificate.
- Identifies ways to enhance revenue and profitability through product bundling, pricing innovation, and marketing. Researches, recommends and implements new processes or enhancements to existing processes to create and improve operational efficiencies.
- Works with vendors on projects relating to changes, upgrades, and the implementation of new features; performs tests enhancements and documents system changes.
- Coordinates with Facilities Manager on installation of new ATMs.
- Serves as a member of any Project Team that impacts Card and ATM related projects and for other bank projects as assigned. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Administer card and ATM platforms; oversee ATM fleet lifecycle, including vendor liaison responsibilities, maintenance, and replacement planning.
- Address and resolve ATM and card-related issues, balancing concerns, and working directly with vendors and banking center staff to ensure uptime and service reliability.
- Manage system upgrades working with ATM vendor and Network provider to ensure all platforms remain current, stable, and secure. Plan and lead the implementation of new technologies or enhancements.
- Manages service calls with ATM vendor and cash replenishment vendor
- Gathers business requirements for the improvement or change initiative. Ensures initiatives adhere to change and project management policies and standard practices. Facilitates change management activities and communicates possible solutions along with the risks associated with the project. Coordinates and designs testing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborates with business units to ensure that the rollout of new features has a supporting plan to drive efficiency and adoption. Assists with the development of training materials, procedures, forms, agreements, and product information.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on product functionality and upcoming enhancements.
- Ensure all products and services comply with applicable bank policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Implement appropriate risk controls and stay informed of emerging regulations and technology changes affecting Card and ATM products.
- Ensure all ATM hardware and software are updated with the most current physical and digital security standards.
- Proactively address audit recommendations and regulatory findings in a timely manner.
- Maintains an expert level knowledge and serves as subject matter expert on systems, features and functions, and industry best practices.
- Reviews and documents product bulletins and roadmaps, attends system related webinars, evaluates impact to customers and bank employees, makes recommendations, communicates enhancements, systems maintenance, and outages.
- Actively engage in user groups and various FIS sub-committees, attend vendor conferences, serve as product and customers champion for Card and ATM products and services.
- Bachelor's degree in a Business or Technical Discipline (i.e., Computer Science and Information Services) preferred.
- 3+ years' banking product management preferred, preferably in card services or ATM operations.
- 5+ years of experience in banking required, with leadership or management experience preferred.
- Experience with FIS Core products and services preferred.
- Deep knowledge of card payment systems, ATM operations, vendor relationships, and industry regulations.
- Personal computer competency - intermediate to advanced level using Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must be a self-starter with analytical, detailed and multitasked oriented, and with complex problem-solving abilities.
- Possesses the ability to identify problems and research related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
