- Operate systems required to receive and ship product in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain and troubleshoot all equipment within the facility.
- Know and follow all safety, environmental, and emergency procedures.
- Complete log sheets, load forms and other paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Understand shipping and receiving systems and product flow throughout the facility.
- Understand and follow switch engine and rail procedures.
- Understand and follow sample procedures as it relates to shipping product.
- Demonstrate knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures
- Demonstrate skill in operating mobile equipment.
- Communicate policies and procedures to others as needed.
- Monitor product levels and assist in monthly inventories.
- Keep work areas and grounds clean at all times.
- Actively participate in all aspects of safety including near-miss reporting and meetings.
- Demonstrate the following core values and guiding behaviors which are expected of all employees at Bunge North America.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of basic math.
- Oral and written communications skills.
- Understanding of basic technology of assigned area.
- Ability to take instruction and follow directions required
- Comfortable working safely in high places and with rail equipment required
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions required
- Strong mechanical skills preferred
- Proficient in basic computer skills preferred
- Must have initiative and demonstrate strong customer service skills required
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised required
- Positive attitude required
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred
- Background in agriculture desired
- Able to work overtime as needed
