Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager with a focus on retail projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects within the retail sector, with budgets of up to $1 millionLead the planning and coordination of commercial construction projects, including establishing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.Oversee the selection and management of subcontractors and vendors, ensuring that work is completed according to specifications and within budgetary constraints.Monitor project budgets closely, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing strategies to mitigate financial risks.Ensure that construction projects meet quality standards and comply with building codes and regulations.Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure timely completion of milestones and deliverables.Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction activities, address any issues that arise, and ensure that projects are progressing according to plan.Facilitate effective communication among project team members, subcontractors, vendors, and clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring that projects are completed safely and in accordance with all relevant regulations.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.   • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Construction Project Manager, with a focus on retail projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, as required by project needs.
  • Strong leadership abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
