Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.Job DescriptionDuties and responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of a Maintenance Management System for effective tracking and reporting.
  • Manage vendors performing maintenance in critical facilities to ensure safety, efficiency, and technical accuracy.
  • Drives creation of plans to test and validate functionality, management, and performance of existing and new technologies.
  • Assists in regulatory compliance inspections and preventative maintenance on critical equipment and properties.
  • Conducts moderate/complex equipment evaluations, selection, testing, and designs to ensure reliability and scaled expansion of critical facilities.
  • Facilitate Post-Incident and Root-Cause analysis to continuously improve operations.
  • Establishes Critical Facilities Engineering performance measurements and goals.
  • Evaluates and trends the performance of generators, battery backup systems, power plants, HVAC, life/safety, and building management systems.
  • Oversee risk management and system maintenance coordination for uninterrupted operations.
  • Develop and manage emergency operating procedures and standard operating procedures.
  • Tracks and resolves escalations.
  • Plans, documents, trends, and logs all parameters relating to space capacity, quality, AC/DC power, HVAC, building management systems, and support systems within critical facilities.
  • Proactively recommends process improvements to management.
  • Provide off-hours support for maintenance issues and system complications as required.
  • Share technical knowledge and skills with other team members to develop their capabilities.
  • OPEX and CAPEX budget planning for all facilities
QualificationsMinimum
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 6 year’s experience in in critical environment operations (data centers, nuclear power, hospitals, etc.). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 year’s experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 year’s experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and coordinating vendor activities to achieve project milestones.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects timely, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook.
Preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities and collaboration skills to engage with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems in critical environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, effective communication, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making skills are essential.
