The Coordinator I will perform tasks associated with the process of Shipping and Receiving responsibilities. This may require working on multiple tasks during a working shift. We are seeking candidates who have a high attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Training will be provided and opportunities for advancement exist.What You Will do:
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Unload trucks and identify damaged material/containers upon arrival, discrepancies are properly documented, and accurate records are maintained.
- Sort material and enter received products into inventory control system
- Perform quality inspections
- Physically verify products against SAP
- Look-up verified material moved from location without any errors
- Be familiar with computers and be able to utilize site inventory control systems
- Perform data entry as needed
- Verify receipts to ensure damage free products are received, discrepancies are properly documented, and accurate records are maintained.
- Gas cylinder delivery and removal.
- Safety inspections of eye wash stations, fire extinguishers and provide monthly metrics of inspections within the shipping and receiving areas.
- Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
- Perform all required tasks while following all safely guidelines and with little supervision
- Candidates must be safety oriented and always adhere to all basic safety standards
- Must have a minimum of HS Diploma or GED
- Must have a high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow written work instructions are a must
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Physical requirements include standing, bending, and lifting up-to 55 pounds, repeatedly at times
- Must be able to operate pallet jacks, dock leveler, gas fork truck, and standup fork truck
- Candidate must successfully complete background, physical, & drug screenings for consideration
