
Low Voltage Technician

- Install and maintain low voltage systems: structured cabling, fiber optics, security systems, and A/V systems
- Pull, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (CAT5e, CAT6, coax, fiber)
- Mount and configure security devices such as cameras and access control panels
- Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Troubleshoot and repair system issues
- Operate lifts and heavy equipment safely (lift certification required or obtainable)
- Ensure compliance with NEC, BICSI, and OSHA safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations and repairs
- 1–3 years of experience in low voltage or security system installation
- Proficient with hand tools and cable pulling techniques
- Comfortable working on ladders and in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- BICSI Installer I or II certification preferred
- Lift certification required or willingness to obtain
