- Recruitment Strategy and Sourcing: Partner with leadership to identify high-priority hiring needs; proactively source candidates through resume databases, job boards, and social media outreach; collaborate with the marketing team to develop digital and print recruitment materials; and represent Chestnut at job fairs, community events, and college/university recruitment efforts.
- Candidate Management and Screening: Review applications, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews; serve as the primary point of contact throughout the interview and pre-hiring process; and build long-term relationships with passive candidates to maintain a robust talent pipeline.
- Technology and Systems Oversight: Manage job postings and reporting in the applicant tracking system (ATS); act as liaison between vendors and internal teams to maximize platform capabilities and troubleshoot issues; and keep job postings current and effective across all recruitment platforms.
- Training and Support: Collaborate with the Employee Experience team to deliver hiring best practices training for managers and support managers in understanding and effectively using the ATS and other recruitment tools.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Contribute to DEI goals by recruiting from diverse sources and staying informed on agency priorities and ensure all candidate outreach and hiring practices align with Chestnut’s values.
- Protect the confidentiality of applicant, employee, and organizational information. And promote a culture of service excellence in line with Chestnut’s behavioral standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, personnel management, marketing, business administration, social work, criminal justice, or related field.
- Minimum of four years of full lifecycle recruiting or talent sourcing experience, preferably in healthcare or a human services setting.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.
- Preferred certifications: PHR, SHRM-CP, or other human resources-focused credentials.
- Proven ability to manage multiple job requisitions across departments with efficiency and professionalism.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse audiences.
- Strong technical skills and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office, and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed).
- Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting for continuous process improvement.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and the ability to travel to job fairs and recruitment events.
