Work Type: In personShift: 6 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Friday (OT Friday)Pay: $30 - $35Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Milling Machine Operator to join a precision-focused manufacturing team in Blaine, MN. This hands-on role involves reading blueprints, setting up and operating CNC milling machines, troubleshooting programs, and inspecting parts for accuracy. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of CNC milling experience and the ability to contribute to high-quality metal production.Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines, including entering and modifying programs in the control system.
- Troubleshoot programs to resolve machining issues and ensure consistent part quality.
- Perform part inspections using appropriate measuring tools to verify conformance to specifications.
- Maintain machine cleanliness, monitor tool wear, and report maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and work with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum 2 years of CNC milling experience with metal components.
- Strong technical math skills and blueprint reading ability.
- Familiarity with CNC program modifications and troubleshooting.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
- Basic computer skills for machine interface and inspection documentation.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Frequent use of computers, hand tools, and measurement devices in a shop setting.
