The department's 47+ full-time teaching faculty members are highly experienced clinicians who are devoted to training the next generation of neurologists.Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of analytical practices, policies and procedures; researches, analyzes and develops solutions to a wide range of issues. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Primarily deals with policies, programs and proposals which are complex in nature and diverse in scope. Assists with translational science research (bench to bedside) programs and projects with a special focus on the science of translation itself as well as with the implementation of new research programs and processes. Alongside Project Development Manager, uses an array of sophisticated quality by design (QbD) and other process improvement modalities to advance translational science research by working with investigators to design and implement stronger research projects by utilizing these concepts. Works with faculty by providing expertise in recruitment and retention as well working with other subject matter experts to provide feedback and direction to increase the strength of the research project.
