- Manages more complex projects that tend to be larger in scope and dollar, thereby increasing the potential for larger change orders and consequences of error.
- May act independently as the IE representative with consulting firms and ensures that the final product reflects the original scope and budget requirements.
- Manages projects which have greater complexity than a Program Manager III.
- Increasing responsibility for leadership of direct reports.
- Experience managing and conducting workshops with multiple consultants and large, diverse stakeholder groups
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously, ensuring projects are on budget, schedule and delivered with high quality
- Experience with Proposal development is highly desired.
- Prior experience working with California Community Colleges and/or other higher education clients.
- Working with office suite is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Working with project management software is highly preferred.
