Review Outside Counsel Guidelines and prepare a summary to be distributed to timekeepers.
Train timekeepers to adhere to guidelines (review of proper narrative etiquette, expense allowances, proper tasks, and activity code usage).
Customize and coordinate best practice procedures to ensure a smooth billing process for partners/clients.
Prepare reports and analyses.
Review inventory to abide by billing deadlines to minimize the billing and collections cycle.
Act as liaison between clients, partners, and assistants and provide resolutions; ensure efficient/effective communications are sent and data needed to resolve an issue is fully identified.
Coordinate efforts of staff, vendors, and clients' designated personnel.
Position Requirements:
Must be familiar with best practices for billing/collections in the legal industry.
Proficient with various eBilling protocols, vendors, and eBilling Hub.
Prior experience with third-party eBilling software is preferred.
Must have strong technological skills and knowledge of the 3E billing system is highly preferred.
Excellent communication skills, outstanding attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Possesses superb customer service skills and enjoys working in a team-oriented atmosphere.
Must have exceptional follow-through skills.
