Position: Client Billing Compliance AnalystLocation: Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid, 3 days onsite during training, then 2 days onsite)Pay: $70,000 to $90,000 annuallyExperience: 3+ years of law firm eBilling experience to support invoice review, timekeeping training for attorneys and staff, assist in preparation of budgets, and overall analysis of client economics.Education: High school diploma is required; College degree is a plus (Accounting or Business major highly preferred).Type: Full-time; Direct HireSchedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm (OT and weekends as needed)Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Client Billing Compliance Analyst to join our dynamic law firm client!Job Description:
  • Review Outside Counsel Guidelines and prepare a summary to be distributed to timekeepers.
  • Train timekeepers to adhere to guidelines (review of proper narrative etiquette, expense allowances, proper tasks, and activity code usage).
  • Customize and coordinate best practice procedures to ensure a smooth billing process for partners/clients.
  • Prepare reports and analyses.
  • Review inventory to abide by billing deadlines to minimize the billing and collections cycle.
  • Act as liaison between clients, partners, and assistants and provide resolutions; ensure efficient/effective communications are sent and data needed to resolve an issue is fully identified.
  • Coordinate efforts of staff, vendors, and clients' designated personnel.
Position Requirements:
  • Must be familiar with best practices for billing/collections in the legal industry.
  • Proficient with various eBilling protocols, vendors, and eBilling Hub.
  • Prior experience with third-party eBilling software is preferred.
  • Must have strong technological skills and knowledge of the 3E billing system is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, outstanding attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Possesses superb customer service skills and enjoys working in a team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Must have exceptional follow-through skills.
