Assist the coaching staff with all duties and responsibilities related to the operation of a NCAA Division I lacrosse program. Duties will include, but are not limited to, coaching current members of the roster, recruiting prospective student-athletes, and performing administrative responsibilities related to successful program operation.Essential Functions:· Individual development/instruction of student-athletes within the men’s lacrosse program· Recruitment of future student-athletes· Any other logistical responsibilities as assigned by the Head CoachCompetenciesCandidate will have experience within a college athletics environment, whether as a coach or player. The position will be required to use standard office equipment such as laptop computer, iPad, cell phone, printer/copier, and projector, among other things. Business-related travel by car, plane, and/or train and stays in hotels or other arrangements will also be required.Physical DemandsA requisite level of physical fitness will be essential to perform the duties associated with this job. While performing duties of this job employees will be required to stand, walk, run, pick up heavy objects, and perform lacrosse-related skills including, but not limited to, catching, throwing, shooting, and cradling.Environmental ConditionsThis position will require outdoor work in the elements throughout the year including, but not limited to, heat, cold, rain, snow, and strong winds.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a part-time position working 982 hours over the course of a 12-month period. Work days/weeks vary dependent on time of year. Weekend work is expected, and hourly workdays will vary based on practice times and other factors as set forth by the head coach.
