- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines covering build, test, release, and rollback across multiple environments.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools; manage container orchestration with Kubernetes/EKS and Docker workflows.
- Integrate automated security testing, vulnerability scanning, SBOM generation, and compliance reporting into all pipelines.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and pipeline health, providing metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop reusable scripts, services, and components following software engineering best practices.
- Promote a DevSecOps culture by mentoring, conducting demos, contributing to communities of practice, and participating in recruiting efforts.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure DevSecOps considerations are visible in user stories and backlog prioritization.
- Experiment with emerging cloud, AI, and automation technologies to maintain resilient and developer-friendly systems.
- 8+ years of experience as a software engineer with a focus on DevSecOps automation (minimum 4 years with a Bachelor’s degree; experience requirements flexible for other degrees).
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, networking, and cloud-native development.
- Proven expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS, Docker).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, pipeline monitoring, and DevOps best practices.
- Experience working in Agile teams and open-source, collaborative environments.
- Familiarity with AI tools and a willingness to apply them responsibly to accelerate development.
- Must have lived and worked in the United States for at least 3 of the last 5 years; occasional travel may be required.
