- Modernize our infrastructure capabilities by adopting latest technology to automate our infrastructure provisioning, procurement and maintenance.
- Certificate Management: Manage the lifecycle of SSL/TLS certificates, ensuring timely renewals and minimizing service disruptions. This includes obtaining, installing, and configuring certificates across various systems.
- Patching and Vulnerability Remediation: Implement and manage patching processes for operating systems and applications. Proactively identify and address security vulnerabilities to maintain a secure infrastructure.
- Infrastructure Requests: Fulfill infrastructure requests from various teams, including provisioning new servers, configuring network resources, and managing access controls.
- Cloud Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize cloud resource utilization to minimize costs and improve efficiency. This includes right-sizing instances, implementing cost-saving measures, and monitoring cloud spending.
- Agent Installation and Management: Install and maintain various agents on servers for monitoring, security, and other operational purposes. Ensure agents are functioning correctly and collecting necessary data.
- Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks, such as patching, certificate renewals, and agent installations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other developers and teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure with application development.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for infrastructure processes and configurations.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- On-Call Support: Participate in on-call rotation for L3 support.
- Performs other job duties and functions as assigned.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure development, system administration, or DevOps role
- Strong understanding of operating systems (Linux and/or Windows).
- Experience with certificate management processes and tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation.
- Experience with patching and vulnerability management tools.
- Understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cost optimization strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s/University degree in computer science or related field is preferred, or equivalent experience
