We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Insurance Sales Executive to lead growth in the Health Care sector, specifically targeting regional hospitals, large physician practices, nursing homes, and senior living communities with memory care services. This commission-based role offers substantial income potential and includes a robust three-year income transition plan to support your success.The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in alternative risk solutions-including partial self-insurance, full self-insurance, risk retention groups (RRGs), and captives-and understand how to address the unique challenges these organizations face that are not adequately covered by traditional insurance products.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain profitable relationships with health care clients and prospects.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through internal networks and industry connections.
- Design and execute strategic marketing and prospecting plans tailored to the health care vertical.
- Collaborate with underwriting, risk management, and service teams to craft innovative insurance and alternative risk solutions.
- Deliver on an annual sales and marketing plan, reviewed and supported by Huntington Insurance leadership.
- Partner with banking colleagues to uncover cross-sell opportunities across Huntington's full suite of financial services.
- Educate clients on the benefits and implementation of alternative risk financing mechanisms.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to service teams, ensuring high-quality client support.
- Participate in industry events, strategy sessions, and internal meetings to stay ahead of market trends.
- Maintain all required licenses and complete continuing education requirements.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Commercial P&C insurance sales, with a strong focus on health care clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Additional state insurance licenses.
- Demonstrated success in selling to health care organizations and structuring alternative risk programs.
- Professional designations such as ARM (Associate in Risk Management), CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter), or healthcare-specific certifications.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and operational dynamics within the health care industry.
