- We're seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to join a leading engineering team focused on cutting-edge product development.
- In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring new designs meet rigorous safety, reliability, and maintainability objectives, contributing directly to product excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Lead and perform in-depth system safety analyses, applying industry-recognized methodologies and guidelines.
- Conduct comprehensive reliability analyses for electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical components at various levels, utilizing established handbook methods and databases.
- Calculate key reliability metrics such as Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time Between Unscheduled Removal (MTBUR) from diverse data sources.
- Perform maintainability analyses and determine Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) based on established guidelines.
- Execute Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) at both component and functional levels.
- Conduct fault detection and isolation analysis weighted by failure rates.
- Generate essential safety, reliability, and maintainability documentation and present analysis results in critical design reviews.
- Participate actively in system, hardware, and software design requirements reviews, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to internal guidelines, procedures, and configuration management processes.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Reliability Engineering within a product development environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
- Demonstrated experience with safety and reliability analysis methodologies such as ARP 4761, MIL-STD-882E, MIL-HDBK-217F, and HDBK-217Plus.
- Proficiency in digital and analog electronic circuit analysis.
- Knowledge of embedded systems safety analysis and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) software.
- Familiarity with system and software requirements assessment.
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced MS Excel skills for complex data analysis, including reliability calculations and FMEA data generation.
- A cooperative, team-oriented attitude with the ability to foster positive relationships.
- A Master's Degree is a plus.
