- Supporting the growth strategy for a substantial, market-leading offering through driving strategic and business development initiatives
- Contributing to the strategic and operating planning processes in partnership with business leaders
- Conducting regular market and competitive research to build a market leading view of the global ecosystem of wealth services providers globally
- Identifying strategic partners and working with enterprise M&A teams to evaluate minority investment and acquisition opportunities
- Support business leaders in executing strategic partnerships with clients, fintech firms, custodians, data providers, and other third parties
- Support the head of the department in finalizing contractual arrangements
- Plan and execute business development initiatives in close collaboration with senior management and product management, including identifying potential targets for acquisition
- Support Market Intelligence Projects, in partnership with teams such as finance

- Proven record of supporting M&A transactions and transaction experience in crafting strategic alliances, partnerships, and investments
- Extensive experience in modelling Pro Forma financials reflecting revenue and cost implications of strategic partnerships being evaluated
- Exposure to the wealth management servicing industry with proven skillset in translation of industry / client themes and trends into actionable strategy, partnering effectively with a wide range of internal and external constituents
- Ability to deliver across complex multi-functional projects
- A customer orientation which allows him/her to solicit, acquire, and act on information from customers concerning their current and future needs, issues, and challenges
- Undergraduate degree minimum and graduate degree / MBA preferred
- 5+ years of related experience preferably within the Financial Services industry
- Top-tier investment banking, business development, or corporate development experience preferred, particularly with exposure to Financial Services / FinTech
- Ability to lead, prioritize and execute on multiple, simultaneous priorities and initiatives
- Strong delivery focused mindset; ability to work on multiple initiatives in parallel, thinking both tactically and strategically
- Outstanding verbal and written communications.
- Superb business judgment and ability to think through complex business issues.
- Critical assessment capability –ability to maintain a very high bar and deliver excellence in work products.
