Accounting Manager

• REMOTE SCHEDULE - MUST BE LOCATED IN HOUSTON (10-20% travel)
• $120-$125k total compensation

• Direct supervision of a team of 3 employees.
• Oversight of month/year-end closing processes.
• Management of monthly external financial reporting.
• Coordination of annual external audits.
• Collaborating with business leaders to offer support for various projects and initiatives.
• Evaluation and enhancement of accounting procedures.
• Partnership with the VP Divisional Controller to establish departmental objectives and track key performance indicators.
• Development and mentorship of departmental staff.
• Coordination of audit activities.
• Completion of other assigned duties.

• 5-7 years of experience in accounting supervision.
• Experience in process improvement is advantageous.
• Exceptional organizational skills, self-initiative, and a strong team player.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information across departments.
• Excellent communication skills.
