Job Description:Role Summary/Purpose:Reporting to VP, Enterprise Sales Enablement & Client System Leader, this dynamic and influential role offers the unique opportunity to help shape RAPID’s evolution , serving as the Product Manager for RAPID, driving a collaborative environment, innovation and scalability while maintaining operational rigor in governance and documentation.As part of the GTM Agile Release Train (ART), this leader will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable and effective solutions that address business needs. This role will also lead a team responsible for completing configuration-based administrative tasks to maintain operational flow. Occasionally you may be required to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as business or team meetings, training and culture events.Essential Responsibilities:Product ManagementServe as the Product Manager for RAPID, partnering with stakeholders and Product Owners to identify, prioritize, and align Program Increment (PI) features with business objectives.Develop and maintain short-term product roadmaps that balance immediate deliverables with the long-term strategic vision for RAPID.Collaborate closely with the Program Manager to ensure the long-term RAPID product strategy is integrated into the ART, alongside connected platforms.Process Optimization, Ownership and Governance ResponsibilitiesContinuously evaluate and enhance governance protocols to maximize operational efficiency and ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and internal policies.Keep updated and enforce RAPID's L3 process proactively identifying risks or gaps and implementing mitigation strategiesOversee administrative team and tasks in alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring accuracy and timeliness in execution.Cross-Team Collaboration and DeliveryWork with other platform leaders to coordinate cross-team build efforts and deliver scalable solutions.Work with other teams in the GTM ART to collaborate on complex builds and manage dependencies/timelinesPartner with the RAPID IT Lead to monitor ongoing development work and address blockers, ensuring smooth execution and delivery for both run and PI priorities.Documentation and Knowledge ManagementCurate, organize, and maintain comprehensive platform documentation, ensuring accessibility and accuracy for both technical capabilities and business processes.Qualifications/Requirements:Bachelor’s degree, or in lieu of degree, a high school diploma/GED and 12+ years of relevant technical platform experience.8+ years of financial services and/or product management experience, including expertise in software/technology design, systems integration, and data architecture.2+ years of people leadership experience in a technical or cross-functional team environment.Strong understanding and knowledge of Synchrony’s products, processes, and technologies.Demonstrated skills in converting high-level strategic goals into measurable deliverables.Proven ability to lead and motivate technical teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.Strong collaboration, communication and influencing skills across cross-functional teams.Desired Characteristics:Prior experience as an Agile Product Owner or Product Manager.Familiarity with Synchrony technical platforms (e.g., RAPID, Salesforce, Fiserv/OneFD/FDPOS).Product Manager or Product Owner certification (e.g., PM/PO)Self-driven with the ability to prioritize multiple concurrent initiatives effectively.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Experience in agile delivery processes and acceptance workflows tailored for complex environments.Proven ability to manage product roadmaps and governance simultaneously while maintaining high levels of accountability.Comfortable working independently or collaboratively, leveraging diverse perspectives to achieve outcomes.Detail-oriented and process-driven, capable of creating order and efficiency within operational frameworks.Grade/Level: 13The salary range for this position is 130,000.00 - 210,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.Eligibility Requirements:You must be 18 years or olderYou must have a high school diploma or equivalentYou must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding processYou must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.
