Locations include Romeo, Chesterfield, Richmond, Marysville, Marine City, and Croswell. Come join the Team!Job Purpose:We are looking for an experienced or novice concrete mixer driver at all our locations to better serve our customers in a safe, timely, and respectful manner. We are willing to train qualified individuals with a valid CDL license and airbrake endorsement.Responsibilities:· Transport concrete materials over land to and from manufacturing plants to job sites· Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform some preventative maintenance· Follow routes and meet delivery schedules· Document load times & unload times· Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures· Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions· Collect and verify delivery instructions· Report defects, accidents or violations· Maintain proper concrete loadsSkills:· Proven work experience as a concrete mixer driver (Preferred)· Ability to drive long hours· Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations· No recent moving or driving violations· Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc)· Valid truck driving license· Detailed and thorough communicationJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: Multiple LocationsSalary: Up to $29.75 per hourDiscussed upon interviewBenefits:· 401(k)· Dental insurance· Employee discount· Flexible spending account· Health insurance· Life insurance· Paid time off· Retirement plan· Vision insuranceSchedule:· Monday through Saturday· 60+ hours/week· OvertimeRequirementsEducation:· High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:· Driving: 2 years (Preferred)License/Certification:· Driver's License (Required)· CDL (Required)· Air-brake Endorsement (Required)
