- Manage a low to moderate complexity portfolio, suppliers, and client relationships to ensure quality and value.
- Provide subject matter expertise across assigned IT spend categories to clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Develop negotiation plans, market strategies, and implementation frameworks for agreements.
- Create and manage RFP strategies to deliver client and supplier value.
- Facilitate client input through councils or task forces and integrate feedback into contracting initiatives.
- Formulate category strategy using financial analysis, technology evaluation, industry trend monitoring, and data resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with client needs and market competitiveness.
- Communicate industry insights, contract changes, and enhancements to stakeholders.
- Lead periodic business reviews and strategic planning sessions with suppliers.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and revenue plans to measure performance against category objectives.
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 2 or more years of relevant experience required.
- Knowledge of and experience in healthcare IT required (e.g., technical operations, IT procurement, vendor management, technology implementation, or hospital operations).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Ability to interpret financial reports, contracts, and other complex documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with strategic and creative problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Willingness to think creatively and test new approaches to meet stakeholder needs.
- Prior consulting or contract negotiation experience preferred.
- Experience with AI tools (e.g., Natural Language Processing, Generative AI) preferred.
