- Own responsibility for sourcing budget, compliance, and procurement KPI's.
- Oversee complex analytics to guide long-term sourcing strategies.
- Provide actionable insights for executive leadership on cost, risk and opportunities.
- Define and execute resourcing strategies for critical parts and programs.
- Manage risk mitigation strategies involving supplier capabilities.
- Negotiate agreements and long-term contracts like MSA/LTA/WA/NDA, etc.
- Drive supplier development, business review and innovation initiatives.
- Lead commercial conflict resolution when necessary.
- Lead resolution of escalated payment disputes and process gaps.
- Represent purchasing in cross-functional finance reviews.
- Lead strategic initiatives across global sourcing, tariff mitigation, and new program launches.
- Identify and implement process improvements across supply base.
- Develop and enforce compliance procedures related to supplier payment practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in advanced procurement roles, preferably with global sourcing exposure.
- Proven track record in global sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost optimization in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, influencing, and decision-making skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Collaborative and adaptable, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to manage high-impact supplier relationships and mentor team members.
- Advanced level professional; independently handles complex assignments and mentors junior professionals.
- Accountable for medium-term functional goals and tactical results.
- Leads procurement strategies that significantly influence organizational goals, supplier relationships, and cost performance.
- Applies best practices and external market insights to develop procurement strategies.
- Influences and negotiates with executive-level stakeholders; leads cross-functional initiatives and strategic supplier relationships.
