
Sr. Program Manager - Transit

- Participate on the leadership team of major programs that have high risk-reward, have a very high level of execution complexity and is of high significant strategic value.
- Provide the AECOM and key client organization(s) with highly experienced technical leadership and strategic direction.
- Drive innovation in project management approaches and methodology to achieve marketplace differentiation.
- Identify areas of high risk and pro-actively take action to positively impact project outcomes.
- Contribute to the learning and staff development strategy for the transit business line, including identification of talent and development of resourcing plans.
- Actively lead and support the attraction and retention of top-tier talent.
- Collaborate with AEOCM’s global transit/rail planning and engineering resources and our digital AECOM team and tools.
- Coordinate with AECOM’s multidisciplinary planning and engineering practices.
- Provide guidance on transit engineering best practices with the region and mentorship to growing transit engineers.
- Participate in engineering related strategy and go/no-go decisions related to capture management.
- As needed, act as a capture manager for strategic pursuit
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) + EXTENSIVE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 6 years of leadership.
- 20 years of professional experience with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership role focused on major and/or mega-capital infrastructure programs
- Track record of driving high performance, and leading capital infrastructure projects.
- Industry recognition and substantial network knowledge to demonstrate your influence and impact on capital infrastructure projects.
- Experience and ability to fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture specific to capital projects that empower your colleagues to excel and thrive.
- Familiarity with development of LRT, BRT, and/or passenger and commuter rail alignments and tracks, facilities, and system design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software.
