DescriptionThe GEOAxIS system provides Identity, Credential and Access Management for all web applications. GEOAxIS enables online, on-demand, access to NGA GEOINT content based on user’s authoritative attributes/roles. Our Mission is to maintain highly available ICAM services for protecting those critical mission applications across all security domains. The GxNext contract was awarded to Leidos in 2021 and runs until 2031.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deploy a log analytics and infrastructure monitoring solution using the Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Beats, and Kibana). This solution will act in support of an existing identity, credential, and access management (ICAM) system.Deploy, configure, test, troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade Elastic clusters and environmentsPlan resources and continuously optimize the infrastructure and configuration of Elasticsearch to maintain cluster health and search performanceConfigure Kibana for end-user access using role-based filtering and/or multi-tenancy featuresInterface with other developers to integrate Elastic stack with existing ICAM baselineResponsible for gathering monthly and quarterly metrics for customer reviewResolve installation, infrastructure, data flow, and log ingest issues in both development and production environmentsPerform daily administration tasks for Elasticsearch clusters and environmentsWork in an Agile environment: estimate features and user stories, participate in developing sprint roadmaps, analyze user stories, develop design and architecture elements to support user story and / or feature developmentWork in DevSecOps environment with automated CI/CD pipelinesParticipate in design reviewsDevelop mockups and wireframesConduct peer reviews and code reviewsRequirements/Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in related discipline plus 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or master’s with 6-10 years of prior relevant experienceExperience as a software developer, integrator, administrator, or similar technical role5 or more years of demonstrable experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions using the Elastic stack, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats.Active Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with PolygraphMust be DoD-8570/8140 level 2 compliantExperience with Elastic stack security features, such as client authentication, SSL/TLS configuration, and role-based document filteringStrong documentation skills with a proven ability to develop troubleshooting guides, standard operating procedures, architecture diagrams, etc.Highly autonomous, self-directed, and proactive when it comes to maintaining system infrastructure and log data integrityExperience working with Agile tools such as Jira / Confluence etc.Preferred:Elastic Certified EngineerExperience with container orchestration technologies like Docker and KubernetesExperience working in a production environment with strict availability/uptime requirementsExperience or familiarity with identity, credential, and access management (ICAM) technologies and conceptsCome break things (in a good way).
