- Drive assigned production line(s) performance through IDEX Operating Model e.g. Daily Management System (DMS), Monthly Business Review (MBR), and 80/20.
- Manage key production metrics including safety, quality, productivity, and production employee engagement. Performance metrics may include but not limited to:
- On-time delivery
- Cost reductions
- Inventory accuracy
- Machine efficiencies (i.e., OEE)
- Participate, support, and drive implementation of overall continuous improvement (CI) strategy and actions for assigned production lines.
- Participates and drives Kaizen mindset in assigned area.
- Optimize production processes in partnership with other stakeholders e.g. Manufacturing Engineering to maximize productivity while rightsizing inventory level to meet fluctuating customer demands.
- Drive effective root cause countermeasures for top Pareto hitters.
- Team Leadership and Management
- Lead and manage assigned production line(s) employee performance, development, and accountability.
- Engage is daily management and address escalated gaps appropriately.
- Review production plan for gaps and risks and develop plan(s) for solutions.
- Drive employee and team engagement.
- Support Senior Production Manager in developing operational excellence vision and mid-term transformation plan to support Strategic Planning (STRAT) objectives.
- Serve as cross functional representative for ECR (Engineering Change Notifications), MRB (Material Review Board), Customer Care meetings.
- Collaborate with Quality to address and satisfy RCCM both internal and external CARs (Corrective Action Requests).
- Manage documentation of production processes e.g. Standard Work/Work Instructions and recurring production reports.
- Actively model IDEX values: Team, Trust, and Excellence.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Demonstrated ability to effectively organize several distinct functions, establish levels of responsibility, delegate appropriate authority, and review the work and performance of team members in a manner conducive to efficient performance and high morale.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of continuous improvement principles; lean concepts/tools to include but not limited to Kanban, Single Piece Flow, 5S, Standard Work, Operator Balance Charts, Kaizen, Visual Management Techniques, SMED, TPM.
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret data accurately.
- Experience in creating and managing production plans.
- Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees, across all functions of the organization including customers and suppliers.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
- Knowledge of ISO and/or other Quality Management Systems is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field, required.
- 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably stamping/assembly operations.
- 5+ years of experience in personnel management.
