
Engineering Support Specialist - Test Engineer

- Generation of system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools
- Development of test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products
- Development of functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems
- Design, development and implementation of cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and systems for all phases of product development and manufacturing

- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field, or equivalent experience
- Clear understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories
- Clear understanding of object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages
- Experience on LCS Class ships highly desired
- Experience in embarking/debarking LCS Class Mission Packages.
- Experience working with COMLCSRON or representative commands.
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with working within a Navy programmatic and operational management environment (i.e., experience working within the NAVSEA PMS 420/505 and LCSRON community)
- Formally trained, operated, and maintained Navy's Surface Warfare (SUW), Mine Countermeasure (MCM) and systems and inter-workings of the LCS Class MM program
- Familiar with U.S. Naval protocol such as WAFs and Tag-Out procedures
- Experience supporting logistics operations on Navy ships/systems, including inventory management, handling of classified hardware, and preparation of Form DD-1149 for custody transfer of material.
- Experience relative to maintenance and logistic support of Navy systems and equipment.
- Project management, planning and forecasting of embarks and debarks of Mission Package equipment.
- Mission Module Pre-embark Staging, Movements/Embarks and Debarks
- Fly-Away/Distance Support and Logistic Engineering Support.
- Preparing documentation for logistics efforts that support material readiness, safety, and configuration efforts for Navy assets in multiple geographical locations.
- Providing technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement of company technical products, programs, and systems
