As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced IT Project Specialist to join our team on a contract basis.Responsibilities: As an IT Project Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our technology infrastructure and ensuring seamless operations. Your responsibilities will include:1. Network Troubleshooting Strategies:
- Develop innovative network troubleshooting strategies to minimize downtime and reduce maintenance costs.
- Create upgrade plans for the company's network software, ensuring timely implementation whenever updates are available.2. Microsoft Software License Management:
- Administer Microsoft software licenses across the organization.
- Maintain accurate records of licenses and subscriptions, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.3. SharePoint Expertise:
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Office 365 applications, particularly SharePoint.
- Customize SharePoint sites to meet department-specific needs.
- Train employees on SharePoint usage and best practices for collaboration and document management.4. Stay Current with Network Technology:
- Keep abreast of network technology advancements and inform the executive team.
- Collaborate with other departments to align technology solutions with business goals.5. Troubleshooting and Monitoring:
- Investigate system abnormalities both in person and remotely to determine root causes.
- Routinely monitor and correct system issues.6. Vendor Collaboration:
- Work closely with third-party vendors to create user-friendly guides and DIY training materials.
- Empower users to resolve common IT-related issues independently.7. Technology Strategy and Project Management:
- Develop and implement the company's technology strategy.
- Manage IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring successful delivery.8. Qualifications:
- Associate degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive IT management experience.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud-based technologies.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving abilities and strategic decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with industry best practices for IT governance and security.9. Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening.
