As a Residential Energy Auditor, you will be managing and shadowing inspection vendors of the NH Saves, Mass Save, and Energize CT programs to ensure complete and thorough projects have been installed for our residential customers.This role includes the management of inspection vendors who conduct inspections on behalf of Eversource. You will be expected to hold the inspection vendors to predetermined key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide this information to the program team in a simple manner to improve program performance and design.This is a hybrid role. The first three months are full-time in the office/ on-site visits.Reporting manager: Inspection & Audit Supervisor, Energy EfficiencyKey Responsibilities
  • Manage external inspection vendors.
  • Conduct and shadow inspections and energy audits for residential customers to ensure the correct installation of any current projects and identify additional energy savings opportunities for the customer.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of residential building science.
  • Accurately collect any customer feedback and ensure that customer complaints follow any necessary investigative procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure inspection and audit feedback is incorporated into program design.
  • Develop and enforce quality assurance/ quality control goals for program partners and vendors along with the implementation team.
Qualifications:Technical Knowledge/ Skills:
  • Self-starter who takes initiative to work independently.
  • Ability to interface effectively and collaborate with clients, peers, project personnel and all levels of management.to develop program-wide policies and procedures, demonstrated ability to take initiative and accountability for results.
  • Familiarity with residential building science concepts.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Suite Applications
  • Bonus - Working knowledge of Salesforce reporting and/ or PowerBI
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Preferred: Degree in chemical, electrical, energy, mechanical, or industrial engineering or in environmental science
Experience:
  • Required: 1 plus years of experience
  • Preferred: Previous auditing, building science, or product installation experience
Licenses & Certifications:
  • Preferred: CEA/ CEM certification
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is $72,000 - $80,000 plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of benefits.
