You will act as the frontline consultant, navigating complex industrial energy systems, aligning automation offerings with operational workflows, and understanding the unique requirements of upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors.   • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred).
  • 5+ years of technical sales experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Familiarity with energy storage systems (e.g., batteries, hybrid systems) and engine automation technologies.
  • Strong understanding of oilfield operations and industrial power systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across the USA and Canada.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and safety requirements in oil and gas.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently but collaboratively.
  • Basic understanding of key industrial communication protocols such as Modbus (RTU/TCP), Profibus, or CANbus with a basic ability to explain how these protocols are used in engine automation, remote monitoring, and integration with SCADA systems.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting communication issues between controllers, sensors, and HMIs.
  • Experience working with SCADA systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), including configuring communication interfaces and interpreting data from field devices.
  • Knowledge of industrial networking concepts including serial communication, Ethernet/IP, and wireless telemetry systems used in remote oilfield environments.
Your responsibilities as the Technical Sales Representative will include:
  • Drive sales growth by developing strategies, pursuing new opportunities, and managing both new and existing client accounts.
  • Present and demonstrate technical solutions to key stakeholders across the oil and gas sector.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Prepare accurate proposals, quotes, and contracts while maintaining CRM records and sales forecasts.
  • Represent the company at industry events and ensure strong customer support throughout the sales cycle.
