- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred).
- 5+ years of technical sales experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Familiarity with energy storage systems (e.g., batteries, hybrid systems) and engine automation technologies.
- Strong understanding of oilfield operations and industrial power systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% across the USA and Canada.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and safety requirements in oil and gas.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently but collaboratively.
- Basic understanding of key industrial communication protocols such as Modbus (RTU/TCP), Profibus, or CANbus with a basic ability to explain how these protocols are used in engine automation, remote monitoring, and integration with SCADA systems.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting communication issues between controllers, sensors, and HMIs.
- Experience working with SCADA systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), including configuring communication interfaces and interpreting data from field devices.
- Knowledge of industrial networking concepts including serial communication, Ethernet/IP, and wireless telemetry systems used in remote oilfield environments.
- Drive sales growth by developing strategies, pursuing new opportunities, and managing both new and existing client accounts.
- Present and demonstrate technical solutions to key stakeholders across the oil and gas sector.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
- Prepare accurate proposals, quotes, and contracts while maintaining CRM records and sales forecasts.
- Represent the company at industry events and ensure strong customer support throughout the sales cycle.
